Emerald and diamond marquise ring from 1890
A Victorian period 18 carat gold marquise shaped ring set with old European cut diamonds and emeralds. The ring is hallmarked for the City of Birmingham and the year 1890.
The 18 diamonds are about .32 carat in total, SI2 to Pique 1 in quality and H to I in color, The emeralds are square and rectangular faceted stones and together are about .25 carat in total. The marquise setting measure 19 mm by 8 mm.
The ring size is 17.50 mm, the size can be modified if necessary.
The ring is beautifully made with some attractive scroll detail on the shoulders, there is a chip to one of the smaller emerald stones.
